Two million tons of raw materials for 100% green chemicals.
Formative Capital has taken its first project through pre-feasibility, and beyond FEL-2, progressing to where Formative has a Class 3 capital (+25% / -10%) estimate on hand. We are entering into the design and implementation phase and expect to be producing products about 36 months after construction commences.

Annually, the project will take in two million tonnes of raw materials and renewable feedstocks to produce more than 350,000 tonnes annually of 100% renewable chemicals. Thousands of low-skilled agricultural jobs will be created to meet the Project’s demand for feedstocks, and Formative is actively working with the local agricultural community to ensure the necessary skills and tools are in place.
Project Luhlaza will create more than 7,500 permanent jobs in the agricultural sector. There will be more than 1,000 permanent jobs created at the biorefinery and about 5,000 temporary jobs will be created during construction. We have off-take partners for our primary chemical and polymer products from the automotive, retail, and consumer goods sectors. Our business model, created with local farmers, is unique and a world first, embracing the people, planet, profit ideology. We have set aside a portion of profits for education and social development in the local community. With our partners, we have developed an agricultural program to help farmers from distressed communities, focusing on training that will help improve crop yields and agricultural efficiency.
